Group Discussion 7: Writers
Writers—Nancy Hanson talks with four creative writers who have produced works ranging from music to children's books: Kimberley Heuston, Sue Peterson, Marsh Morford, and Catherine Cook. They agree that it takes faith to begin writing, courage to make mistakes, and work to keep at it. They discuss the benefits of dabbling in different forms and genres, writing for the sake of doing it, separating writing from editing, keeping notes and journals, and having people read what you write. Other topics include handling rejection and seeking help from the Lord.
