Episode 5: Michael Moody
This episode of “Conversations” features an interview by host Ruth Todd with Michael F. Moody. Brother Moody served as the Chairman of the Church Music Committee for 25 years. As such, he headed the project to create a new hymnbook for the Church. This interesting interview highlights Brother Moody’s background, describes the process for creating a new hymnbook, and why certain hymns are deleted or added. Additional highlights from Brother Moody’s life are discussed, including some of the music he has written and his feelings on the power of music in our lives.
